- INGREDIENTS
- 1kg of all purpose flour
- 200g of margarine/butter
- 1 teaspoon of grounded nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 100g of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 3 eggs
- Vegetable oil
- 150ml whole milk or (100ml of evaporated milk or 75ml condensed milk or 70g of powdered milk)
- Water(add 50ml if using evaporated milk, 75ml if using condensed milk and 100ml if using powdered milk.
PREPARATION
- Beat the eggs and set aside
- Pour the sugar into a small bowl, add the milk and mix thoroughly.
- In another bowl, add the flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Mix well and then add the margarine/butter. Mix thoroughly with your hands until it looks like fine bread crumbs.
- Add the beaten egg and the milk and sugar mixture into the bowl and mix well (add water little by little) until it get smooth but stiff dough.
- Cover it with a dry clothes or towel for 10minutes.
- Knead the dough on your floured rolling board, and the roll the dough flat with your rolling pin until flattened.
- Then cut the flattened dough into small-small cubes
- Then deep fry until it then golden brown.
