Recipe- Palm oil Stew

How do you prepare your stew? Do you fry or cook? Do you want to make very tasty stew without that sourness or "slappy" taste?

Try out this Palm Oil Stew and thank me later.

With this method, you do not have to boil blended tomatoes and peppers mix, striping it of every available nutrients before frying your stew. You just fry direct and this retains the freshness and nutritional contents. And u all, no artificial spices are added  to it, and the taste and aroma is just irresistible.

I used:
Fresh tomatoes
Scotch bonnet peppers(Ata Rodo)
Tatashe
Shombo
Onions
Ginger
Garlic
Palm oil
Seasoning cubes
Tumeric
Thyme
Protein of choice ( I used fresh Tilapia Fish)

My Method:
I Season and cook my protein and set aside

I wash all the peppers, tomatoes, onions, ginger and garlic and deseed the tatashe

I blend all together into a "not-too-smooth" consistency

You don't need to cook your blended tomatoes mix until water dries up before frying the stew

I Simply heat up enough Palm oil and bleach it slightly.

I pour in the blended tomatoes and peppers mix

I Cover and allow to fry till water dries up and sourness is gone

I Season with knorr cubes, tumeric and thyme (no addition of artificial spices)

I Pour in my already seasoned and cooked proteins

I Correct seasoning and add salt to taste.

I cover and allow to Simmer on low heat until oil floats on top

There, my stew is ready.....Red, Rich and Organic Stew.

What would you pair it with?
